mikeDnight
Little scope, crescent moon, pencil in hand and Piccolomini on the terminator. Thanks for looking! ? Mike
John
Clear skies Mike ? - you lucky man ! Nice sketch. I've had solid cloud cover here for a week !
mikeDnight
The clear sky surprised me too John! It was a bit of a rush trying to get the sketch done in time before it clouded over. I managed to also do a quick sketch of Venus but didn't make Mars this time due to cloud. I'm not bothered though, as I doubt I'd have been able to use a high enough power on mars due to poor seeing. Astro Imp
Nice work as usual Mike. I looked out last night and saw our neighbour and thought - great- I'll get out after dinner. NO! clouded out, still that was the first view I've had for the last two weeks.
acr_astro
Hi Mike, excellent sketch of Piccolomini -- I've been sketching that one too. Not now but already two times in the past. One of my favourite destinations. Clear skies! Achim
