Image of Moon with Nexstar 127slt

Hi guys,

I tried to take moon's image with my 127slt but full moon doesn't fit in the camera view (450D). How do I take the full moon image without using focul reducer or turning back to my nexstar 4SE?

Take multiple shots and stitch together with a software app.  PS, Lightroom and many others will do it.

So no way to take one shot of the full moon!

In 1 shot only a focal reducer will do that..

Or as suggested a mosaic..

The max focal length for a full disk Lunar image with a cropped sensor DSLR is about 1.2 M, I know because it only just fits with my 90mm Mak.

I used same camera with 4SE 4" and it worked really well.

Here is handy camera FOV (field of view) calculator (LINK). I managed to take full image of super moon with my 500D using 12" newtonian. I suppose camera sensor size and focal lenght determines camera FOV.
