After having a long and lovely but busy day with my sons second birthday. My wife and I stepped into the garden just after midnight to take stock of the day. I gave my wife a quick tour of the sky with my laser pointer showing her where various objects that are around the summer triangle and a few other constellations. We were then treated to a fly by of the ISS and as we were watching it fade to the east, we both saw a meteor streak across the sky from the general direction of below Cassiopeia and travelling to the right.

Simple moments arm in arm like that are priceless!
