2nd outing with the new tilt adapter and the pesky NRs are back so I clearly need to adjust the tilt even though the first outing was clean which I think must have been due to the tracking drifting on that occasion so negating any ring activity on the stacked image.

Seeing was pretty wobbly.

Nice sharp image there Stuart. Sorry if you know this already, or it's been mentioned already, but are you lining up the tilt with the 'long' side of the sensor? I was still getting the rings with my (homemade) tilt adaptor till someone here told me that, and once I was lined up the problem was solved forever.

looks ok to me, it's round, the right colour and it has the right kind of details on it

Hope you get the NRs sorted though.

Thanks Iain you make a very good point which did cross my mind. Next time I will rotate the cam and see if that makes any difference before adjusting the tilt.
