September 9, 2016: a little mosaic in H-alpha

The seeing was so good yesterday I captured a couple of 2000 frame SER files and could stack 800 of those without losing detail. Stitched the 6 resulting panes with AutoStitch, and got these results:

Rather interesting narrow but very bright features dotted around the ARs. It is clear here again and I am really hoping that the big filament has turned into a big filaprom. I will find out the moment the sun has risen over the trees

Lovely detail especially around the limb, looks like tomorrow morning will be the earliest opportunity for UK sun watchers.
