just had a look at todays SOHO image and theres nothing new, it is showing one AR but if the clouds went away i think the chances of me catching it is nil with it being so small. hope you all have better skys.  charl.

Have had a look Charl and can't see 2570, so I don't think your missing anything.

Thanks for the disk. The image is certainly good.  So many granules! Could the active region be one of these two...

It's a unique AR anyway. Not many of them manage to hide this well.

same here Chris, its rain on and off for over 24hr, skys a dark gray with not a ray of sun. hope we get better skys soon. charl.

It's just stopped raining here at last, got the joints in my patio re-pointed ready to bolt down the pier, hoping it dries a bit before another downpour.

Can't get it bolted down until I get a view of Polaris though, heaven knows when that will be.
