Full disk 200716

Time and 'stuff' have prevented me taking images lately.

I'm struggling (frankly) to get the DS working as it should. Visually it's fantastic, but imaging it's a pain!

I'm not getting the settings right or whatever....

I tried Sharpcap today, but the image was totally blue - no idea why and I couldn't change it no matter what I did. I went back to EZPlanetary before the clouds rolled in and this is the result. Not brilliant, but I do love the proms - especially the 3D curly one;-)

Thanks guys - not sure why, but I feel I should be able to get more surface contrast with the DS than I do.

I hear they can be tetchy to get right for imaging, visually it's stunning.

Think I almost prefer the contrasty feel of these. Some nice detail appearing too.
