A Coloured Moon

I thought I'd process this moon in colour as it came out so nice in mono. This time I've tried to keep the colours subtle:

I like that as I am used to seeing mono renditions, very nice.
As a visual only observer all AP tempts me to blow loads of money, that I do not have a join in!

I do AP because I doubt I could manage more than 30 minutes of eyepiece gazing. I probably would do better with binoviewers but they may AP look cheap!

They aren't false, just very faint. I upped the saturation so the colours in the image became garish guided by other photos I played with the colour balance so that it was blue/orange etc. in the right places - it's very obvious where to set the sliders, for example  blue-yellow its is all blue or yellow except in a fine band in the middle. Once balanced, get rid of the saturation layer or just tweak it up a bit, then use the layers and soft light trick to do a gentler saturation boost. this made blue a bit strong, so I slightly desaturated blue. then I did a gaussian blur to get rid of noise and overlayed it with a sharpened version of the original as a luminance layer.
