ISS from 7.06.2016

Hi,

Yesterday I took a photo of ISS over my home. That was my first attempt with Newton 200/1200 on Dobsonian mount and D7200 :-)

what settings did you use on the camera, iso setting , exposure time , any barlow lenses?

Looks like one area where a dob beats an EQ mount hands down, I spent two minutes chasing it over the best bit of the sky last week, and didn't get near :-(

My setting was: ISO500 and exposure time 1/1250. There was no barlow.

 

Neil, You right, for fast objects dobs are better. I'm also taking pictures of planes on cruising altitude and dobs is only one that can do this :-)

Great pic BTW

I did ok with EQ mount the other night, just took all the locks off and followed it in the finder scope taking pictures every time it passed the middle.  Nothing as good or clear as this picture though - well done.
