Great seeing today

Lovely sunny day here and for a change the seeing was spot on. Managed to push the magnification up to 170 X and the view was still rock steady. Saw granulation for the first time and the monster spot was breath taking.

Sitting in a meeting room in the middle of London. Grrrrr. . .

Bet that the sun has disappears before I get home.

That's great to learn. Rubbishy here today but can't complain 'cos we've had some good days when you have been getting hammered.

Very glad that you had a chance to observe the Sun today!

This morning in the North East of Italy, we had a heavy thunderstorm and the sky was really dark until I took off at least. Now in Cambridge the sky is very clear. Hopefully it will be a good June in Glasgow this year with many hours for solar observation!

I escaped from the office under grey cloud. But, was greeted by bright sunshine when I got home. You are right. The seeing was lovely.
