I think it's hilarious that there's an asteroid called John floating about! No disrespect to John mind, but it's not the most unusual name in the world - and it serves as a brilliant juxtaposition to the usual astronomical names.

John lives very close to me and is a member of the Cotswold AS along with myself. he has done alot of serious work with Near Earth Object tracking amongst other things. This kinda of work takes a lot of time and patience and often goes unsung. Congratulations John on getting a space object named after you.
