The Sun in White Light 25th Apr 2016

After a dismal start the clouds broke up a bit this afternoon and with a bit of shower-dodging I managed to grab some white light data.

I've just ordered some of the Baader ND3.8 Photographic Solar Film. I've been curious about how this stuff would perform for a while so finally took the plunge today and ordered some.

What were these taken with, a Herschel wedge?

Very nice disks. No chance to have a look today. Wall to wall clouds.
