Really amazing for short subs, that looks similar to the one I got with 1 minute exposures. I take it that you  aren't tracking? If you got  a basic mount like my EQ2, with motor drive, you would probably be able to get 1-2 minute expos at that sort of focal length.

i am planning on getting some type of mount, just starting out so learning the ropes
