Cant fit my WO Diagonal sct 2" adapter to MAK180

I've recently bought a WO diagonal with a sct adapter which is 2" but the mak180 is larger than 2", can anyone recommend an adapter that would allow me to make my scope have a 2" thread so i could screw on my diagonal?

You have the type that is the same as mine, it has some sort of Mak thread which has a name but I have forgotten it. I had to buy a special adapter to the SC thread which was not cheap for what it is. More to the point I personally do not know anywhere they are now available. Sadly the SkyWatcher visual back is awful, I have thrown mine in the bin. I think a wanted advert may help but I know mine took some getting, they have changed the thread now, but that's not a lot of use to you.

I think this is the item you want but check via email or phone first before ordering as there are two visual-back versions for the Skywatcher Mak.

Other option is to contact FLO as they have a bespoke engineering service available and an adaptor could be made to your specification.

Hi Gino,

I have a SW 150 Mak Pro which I purchased second hand, so I'm not certain of it's exact age, but the thread on the back is approx. 65mm, so it sounds like we might have the same threads. I've recently purchased an adaptor from Astrotec to fit a SCT focuser. The adaptor fits like a glove.

Are these Maks not better with 1.25 accesories anyway,i was close to buying one as a planetary scope and was told that.

Thanks a lot mark, and Paul, admittedly there is no reason for a 2" diagonal but I bought a pair of WO binoviewers and and the 2" is much more sturdy to support the binos.
