A catch with only 5.7 "arc at very low altitude (44), yet already see nuances of polar ice caps, albedo spots and clouds.

I believe that this year in opposition you can get beautiful records.

That is pretty good image considering how small Mars still appears at the moment.

That's a great image.  A foretaste of what's to come - though it won't be very favourably placed up here in the frozen North!

Good image, Avani, with plenty of detail already. Unexpected detail, as there's still an obviously gibbous phase to the globe.

Can't wait to see your take on Mars at opposition, when it is full and much closer by.

Yes Ruud in the Mars opposition will reach 18 "arc and will be 82 in elevation for me in the South. I have high expectations for this appearance. Last time with a lower setup and worse got some good records.

In the picture below there is an error, it was made using an Orion UK 10 "and not the C14 Edge.
