I have a 700x76 zennox and Iam Iain's a 20mm and a 10 mm I think I just seen Mars but can't be sure it's between Venus and Jupiter there is 2 stars in horizontal line is one Mars by any chance

Mars is around that area, you should be able to see a slight  colour difference, it's

nice to be out this morning clear and colder, and it probably was Mars you observed.

Looks like it's just above Spica currently, should be easy to find with the colour contrast.

Agreed - you also were indeed next door to both Venus and Jupiter.

On 1st Jan it's about 0.5 degrees from Artcurus, worth a look.

I saw Mars a few weeks ago early morning (dawn) with binoculars. Jupiter and Venus were also visible. It is distinctively red.

Saw them at 7 this morning whilst out with the dog. The clouds cleared for about 10 seconds.

Ive all but given up observing Mars. Ive had it in my scopes a few times but only once have i been lucky enough to see details such as the polar caps and the region which looks a bit like India.

The best view i have had of Mars was about 22 yrs ago when it was at opposition and that was with the naked eye from the Sahara in southern Tunisia.
