Moon, 127mak and a 700D

This is a single shot of tonights moon taken with a 127mak and 700D screwed straight on to the back on an AZ4.

This is not cropped, as you can see it just about fits in the FOV.

Nice Moon Anthony, I've run off a few images with 60Da and 300mm to test exposure settings ready for the eclipse, fingers crossed  it stays clear.

If I can actually be bothered to get up when my alarm goes off, I will be using the 300mm L and kenko 2x TC.

I was going to use the Tamron 150-600mm but just this second changed it.

You're not wrong there.

Had a bit of trouble lining it up as I was doing it by hand I couldn't quite get the tension right in the clutches of the Az4.

I used to do it with my 127 Mak on the EQ3-2.  Even then there's some drift and you have sit over it and watch how the image is moving across the frame to kick it back a few pixels every so often because there's so little room for error.
