Sadr Widefield

I have been smitten by my 50mm lens and my Star Adventurer. Such a lovely little combination. Here is a shot of Cygnus, around the Sadr region. You can see the North American nebula and various others around Sadr itself. I can almost convince myself that the Crescent is in there as well. I have missed the Veil, but that only means I should give it another go!

Canon 450d, 50mm lens, StarAdventurer. 20 x 2 mins.

I do love this hobby, so many different skills and things to do.

Nice shot. The Veil will fit nicely into frame as well but I found it got rather lost against the dense starfield when i tried to shoot it. Don't know if anyone knows of some good processing tips to bring it out?

You could try removing the stars first using the jp metsavainio star removal action, then sticking them back in later - worth a shot!

Cheaper than Straton (free in fact) :)
