Incredible Sun this morning

Just had an hours viewing and the sun is really active. The large prom at 7 o clock is still hanging on but nearly detached.

At 2 o clock there are four loops in a row lovely sight, those pesky clouds have rolled in so had to pack in.

 Still going to watch the wife paint the lounge ceiling should be good for a laugh.

Wow, bit of a prom-fest going on.

Stuck at work under heavy cloud cover today and the forecast doesn't give much cause for optimism either.

Nice sketch Rob. Despite sitting in a cafe under dark skies, with a cappuccino mind, your representation immediately reminds me of my visual session (and an average DSLR image) yesterday. The Acacia tree style prom at 4 o'clock on your image was looking very fine yesterday. Here, I have to go and secure my wheelie bins because the forecast is such that they could well end up in Scarborough,and I'm in Ripon.

I'm sorry to hear about the weather. Solar-wise it was awful here in February/March/April but things picked up in May and hopefully will continue so for the next few months.
