Saturn (what else?)

7" Mak/ Cass at f45 with a Toucam. The colours seem a bit "off white" and washed out but I'm pretty happy with it. I may have another go with Photoshop if I get time. Cheers!!

That's an outrageously good image for F45 with a cheapy barlow. Outrageous I say!

Gaz, that is a very impressive image and much better than my attempts with a larger scope. It looks like those Mak-Cass scopes perform very well, is it the Skywatcher Pro model ??

Yep, its the 7" Skywatcher Pro. Its great little (ish!!) planetary/ lunar scope but the FOV can be a bit narrow for some objects.

Seem to have been saturated with Saturns of late but this one caught my eye as there appeared to be quite a bit of banding. Intended to just have a quick survey,so to speak but ended up trying to enhance each one.

Didn't work and I now have a headache.

Anyhow,here's one high contrast over sharpened version to show some detail. Stand away from the screen for best view.
