Here's my latest Leo Triplet. This time with 40 X 60 sec exposures at 800 ISO with the EOS 400D on an 8" Newtonian.

I like that allot - as Rob says the framing is spot on.

Was in the vicinity last night myself taking some test images of NGC2903, tickling Leo's whiskers so to speak.

Not sure if the result will be any good as the seeing wasn't up to much for me last night, but you've got some nice detail there.

Thanks for the comments - I going to give this one another go at ISO1600 and hopefully push the exposure to 90 secs for each shot, when the weather is better.

I think that lovely star deserves to be a part of this sight, and instead of "triplet" it should be named "quadruplet" , despite it being only a star or i'll just keep my own opinion to myself 8)
