NGC6820 (Sh2-86) in mono

Not sure if this will get the full Hubble treatment or whether to leave it as mono - I think that it stands up as a finished image. The moon is already hindering me with collecting SII and OIII, I certainly don't collect it from here on in.

I welcome your thoughts on this - It doesn't seem to be imaged very often.

That's a lovely crisp image Sara. I like the apparent depth of field that there is in the image, especially around those 'holes' in the nebulosity.

Another beauty, well done. Works in mono just fine. Always interesting to see what some colour can do to it though and you seem to be getting the sky time.

You are a photon hoover at the moment aren't you - the skies are obviously clear down south!

think the mono is fine,  showing lots of shades of grey which i like,   sometimes i think mono is best on nebula

This is a new one for me, and you've done a really good job on the capture Sara. I'd still be interested to see what it turns out like in full Hubble colours, especially since as you mention it's not a well trodden target.

Thanks Paul and Martin - The NB data will have to wait for a while until the moon moves out of the way! I will definitely capture the data though.
