My First Saturn Picture

Hi All,

Here is my first Saturn picture from June 28th. I took my time (no kidding...lol) trying to process this picture the best I could, given my current knowledge of processing and the atmospheric conditions.

I haven't enough posts yet to include my equipment in a signature but it includes:

* Meade ETX 105 w/884 tripod.

* Phillips SPC 900NC camera

Used a 2X barlow and processed using PIPP and Registax 6.

Hi and well done. My only suggestion is that you use AS!2 for stacking and then put the result through R6 for wavelets, RGB etc. I find AS!2 both quicker and better at stacking than R6. http://www.autostakkert.com/

I find AS!2 easier to use than R6. It's really easy to pick out the best frame from the graph. When you get your stacked image you put it into R6 for final adjustments on wavelets, RGB align etc.
