Out of six weather forcasts I've only found one that offers any hope for no cloud for the eclipse tonight, not good odds. I've decided to save my leave entitlement and go into work (with a pair of binos, just in case!!)

I've booked tomorrow off but don't really hold out much hope.

I will set everything up and I'll stay up till 3:30 - then if cloudy, I'll be going to bed!!!

Gonna be overcast here. We even had a small chance of light rain forecast on local weather. This blows my original plan of setting up in the evening and have a quick look/photo at 3 then back to bed .

I'm sure there will be lots of whooping, clapping and photo's from our friends across the pond. Will watch the news tomorrow cus they usually do these things in style.

I was having second thoughts about 4 o'clock, it looked pretty clear but the heavy cloud has just arrived and looks settled for the night.

Looking at the metoffice satellite pictures there may be a possible gap forming that could arrive here during the night lets hope it ends up here at 3.00am

Met office gives it clearing here about midnight but cloudy again by 3am.

BUT I won't take any notice as its clear here already (but not holding my breath).

For me,

It is 25% clouds from meteoblue. I can see the Moon at the moment, as it can outshine the clouds here. there is still hope, so I may turn on the alarm! :|
