Well done. As others have stated the Moon provides almost endless possibilities for observing. In my opinion having a map of the moon at hand to help identify the areas your observing enhances the experience further.

It's so good when you get a closer look at our Moon, my favorite target, as Peter said

get a Moon map, the sky and telescope mirror image map is superb, it's good to find

what you are observing on the map, and you can keep a log of your nights observing,

keep enjoying our wonderful Moon.

I'm no Moonographer (made up word) and generally curse it more than look at it but when I do it never fails to impress!!

It's like so many other telescope targets, the more you look the more you see.

Something there for everyone. :)

I agree but my attempts tonight got thwarted by a neighbor above dumping Cheetos on my scope and eye pieces, I felt livid because I know they saw me setting up . Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

I had to google "Cheetos", it's not as bad as I thought....

Still, not nice neighbours if they knew you were there :(
