That is good to know Brian, it will save some time when you first set up. The thought of waiting a few minutes every time you fiddle with the tuning knob is a little but of a hindrance.

I can't wait until mine turns up, even bought a 80mm frac for my Quark/WL/single stack Ha to take on holiday this summer, first test on WL today and it looks promising.

Someone liked this thread and it brought me back to it.  Since these images were posted I think the Quark has proved itself over and over again.  I believe there have been a few quality control issues with some batches, but this aside it is obviously a superb instrument for the price.  Here is my latest image using the Quark chromosphere and ST102 with 0.5x reducer.

Nice to see this thread again, Brian, brings back memories, and great new image of that lovely AR

The Quark is better than I dared hope, it sounded almost too good to be true for the price. My best astro buy

If you get a chance, the solar imaging showcase for 2014 is looking fab but a bit thin!:

Only four entries so far and no Quarkies, I am going to add some of my efforts after I do a slight reprocess on a few to go with my Quark review.
