Finally got Mars with Mak 127 & spc900

Finally managed to get a shot at Mars with the humble Mak127 with average seeing, mind you this is nothing compared to the amazing images posted by others some really take your breath away!

This was taken in the early hours of the 24th of March with the Spc900

Hope I can get a go near opposition with good seeing if the pollution doesn't return!!!

In every pic that night spanning about an hour, there was a white bit in the middle of the planet, Don't know if I've got some dust on the lense or if its picked up some cloud?

Anyone know?

Excellent images.  I'm fairly sure the white patch is cloud.

Pretty good for 127mm aperture! Quite a lot of cloud visible with the naked eye at the moment as well.
