I spent about 5 hours on this learning how to combine the RGB correctly.

I sharpened each channel up after they came out of registax first wavelets then using focus magic.

Combined the images in Maxim using the red channel for luminance and normal red in the RGB, at first this would not work so I had to make another red channel up.

Finished off in Photoshop with a duplicate layer adjusting the brightness and sharpening in focus magic then used opacity and fill at 50%.

So i guess it's an RRGB?
