New to Stargazers Lounge

Hello everyone ,

I am new to this forum . Astronomy has been a hobby of mine for many years now . I started imaging back in 1990's but still have an awful lot to learn . Looks like Stargazers Lounge could be a good place for me to do just that as well share what l have gleaned over the years.

I have a small backyard observatory in Vermont equipped with an edge hd 11" on a pier and an old celestron powerstar 8" I use for portable viewing . Not a lot of good skies here in Vermont at least not where I am located so SL will be a good place to be during the cloudy periods .looking forward to sharing thoughts and ideas with everyone .

It certainly is a good place for learning, but given your experience, I think you'll be doing more teaching than learning. Which is great for beginners like myself. Welcome to the forums!
