Maxvision 2inch

With all the gloomy weather plus my birthday coming up its ep time to cheer me up.I was thinking about ordering a 28mm 2 inch maxi ep.This will be used in a sw200 f5 scope.I was wondering if anyone has this ep and what their thoughts are on its performance.

im using the 28mm in my 14" f4.5 and i love it! the stars are super sharp. it shows a bit of coma but only 15% from the edge.but be assured its money well spent. it makes a great finder EP for those faint fuzzy's.

Lovely eyepiece, big, solid, great view, crisp, reasonable coma control. Needs a relatively dark sky to really fly.

I have the 24mm 1 1/4 version as well which is my convenient goto eyepiece. The 2" 28mm version gives more of a feeling of space. You won't quite fit the big targets in field ie M44 and 45.

I have the Meade version of the 28mm, and it is very good on fast scopes, good sharp image and great ep to use, especially the twist-up body, makes the placing of the eye much easier.

Mine arrived yesterday - a 28mm. Got on the advice of another member. Not had a chance to try it, but it feels quality. My eyepiece case is now too small, though.
