My 3yr old wants an obsy

I was lying in bed this morning next to the wife and one of my twin daughters reading a book on stars and all thing associated.

I started Reading a page about observatories Gracie leans over and says "what's that Daddy?" So I told her. She replies "I want one of those Daddy"

I Looks at the wife and I smile

   Wow! At 3, I bet I was just becoming potty trained and other things age 3 involves. Honestly, I can't believe a 3 year old can contemplate the idea of star gazing and wanting a scope.

   OK, what do I know about age 3 anyways. At 66, I have a hard time remembering how to get out of bed

Tbf she's very advanced for her age. She probably just saw it as a princess castle. What my princess wants she can have in due course.

Well Peter it would be a shame to disappoint your daughter. If you spoke to her nicely she might let you use it after her bedtime

I would take full advantage of that, it sounds like your 99% of the way of talking the other half into it   after all you have to think of your little girls education !!!

That's a new one. Getting permission for an obsy by getting the kids to change the wife's mind. Great one.

I don't have this problem, my wife supports my plans for obsy in garden, she actually thinks they look good, my problem is with the ££££
