Hi Folks

Got my regular update on offers email from Aldi today and saw these.

1. "Power station" - looks like a jump starter thingy - £24.99 http://www.aldi.co.uk/uk/html/offers/58_4781.htm

2. Pneumatic roller seat - reminded me of Helen's observing stool - has a couple of trays underneath that might be handy, but the rollers might make it difficult to use on some terrains - £14.99

Cheers, Martin

That looks very similar to mine, which is a 17AH battery inside.

Karlo

It is just looks the same as other 17Ah units that are advertised at Halfords and Max.tv (on Sky) , although it is much cheaper.

I too got the email from Aldi and shall be making a purchase on thursday 17th

Yep, mine was Aldi  Slightly different design, but I wouldn't be without mine! I use the tool holder as a foot rest and so it avoids my feet being in contact with the cold concrete too

Wondered whether this http://www.aldi.co.uk/uk/html/offers/58_4787.htm might be useful for bino viewing?? :D

Cheers for the heads-up, dogfish.

Just been out and got me a power tank, while there I noticed the Garmin Geko 201 GPS at £79.99, I've had one for years but a mate wanted one so I've passed on the good news to him, he says to tell you "thanks".

Glad to be of assistance :salute:

Got my power pack yesterday :D - thanks for the heads up.

Battery is rated at 17.2Ah with three cigarette lighter sockets for powering external kit and working lights, saves me trailing a mains cable + converter to the scope now - and thats gota be good.

cheers
