Great Orion Nebula.

I've started my adventure with AP this summer. I've seen this object countless times using plenty of different scopes. I've captured this for the first time in my life.

wow  - yes very good image if you have just started AP.   M42 and the running man showing nicely and some traces of the outer dusty tendrils .  A nice technique with this target is to take some shorter subs and process them so that you get the details of the core part of the nebula and then layer the two images together in photoshop or similar to get the best of both images.

Nice shot loads of nebulosity as john said making an image with shorter subs and layering to make a composite image will show the details in the trapezium

Excellent image Marvaz, much more nebulosity coming through with the modded DSLR.    I'm going to have to take some brave tablets and do the mod to my EOS!    Definitely worth some shorter subs to bring in some detail to the core area.
