Just seen this on the spa website occultation by saturn on the 25th Jan 1850 HRS Reappearance 2003HRS a lot more info on the spa website should be good to watch or image.

Yep I did!

I missed the start but saw the star emerge from the far side. It actually emerged towards Tethys and Titan (not shown above) and it was about 7:50pm.

The star is mag 7.8 at a distance of 499 LY.

Quite cool to have witnessed it!

This stuff happens all the time, it just depends on where you are at the time.

I do this from Stone Haven sometimes. It's a lot of fun! You can do lunar, palentary or asteroid occultations, send in data and contribute this way, too.
