Bernie (Supernova) sent me a shot of the moon that he did afocally through his big Dob. I don't know why, but he didn't post it here yet, but its good enough that you should see it.

You took the picture Bernie, not me, all I did was prod you by posting it here. Its a good 'un and you get the credit thats due is all I wanted to acheive. Now go and get some more, that pumpkin cannon ought to scoop up enough light that you can get a half decent M42 with the digicam.

The thing isn't working very well at the moment as the dedrippifyer keeps frosting over, and the 12,000 foot long heated dewshield won't let me balance the 'scope.
