some nice detail going on focus looks good. it looks a bit dark to me though?

Contrast and brightness was slightly lowered in PS6 as bottom (top) of the Moon was in my opinion overexposed, but time constraints and the need to go to work meant i had to call it a day....

next time.. AS THEY SAY..

Russ - still trying to get my head around stacking and which software to use.

One thing that confuses me when you did you 50 shot stack, was the camera in a fixed constant position or did it track, and also how long did it take to do the 50 shots - were they literally continuous

Camera was attached to my 127 Mak.

I'm using APT to take pictures, so yes 50x shots short after another (2s break).

Then PIPP to crop and convert cr2 to tiff.

Then registax6 to stack and wavelets.

Then PS5 for levels & curves.
