Morning all . . . 

Actually got a glimpse of the old boy after a week engulfed in grey .... 

Still not a lot to see in "white" but good to be back at it nevertheless .... 

Seeing pretty rough but there , ain't gonna moan after such a break ..... 

1000D + ED80Pro + ND3.8 + 1.8 x Barlow + OIII.

1/500s @ ISO 200 , 40/200 , Reg 5.1 , Gimp 2.8.

Looks like just one sunspot today, hope there is a bit more coming round. There is plent going on in Ha, best get that Solarscope filter on order.

Hi Robin , 

Like you it's been a while .... 

I've put the Ha side on hold for the time being , it's got to that time of year when getting a shot in white gets to be a struggle and I shan't get the time to spend on exotics , and don't fancy lugging a few grands worth up a ladder to the big pier either ... 

Shall start thinking about it again in the spring and see how things have gone over the winter cash-wise , always a thin time for me generally ...

Had a rare go at putting a little colour into another grey day .... too much faffing for my liking for a regular thing .... bit like DSO's a slight tweak makes it all go bad so I'll be sticking with B+W.

I like the colour shot too, nice and cheerful, you should do it more often   

It's cold, wet and windy out there at the mo.   Was hoping to image the moon tonight, but not so sure with that wind.
