Well, sort of. Not great conditions and no spots visble on the screen so focusing was guess work again today.

Great work, David. I viewed the sun this morning and it was very much the same as yesterday, a little faculae on the west side and a tiny sunspot near the middle.

Lowest spot count since a quiet disk in June of 2012 based on my humble records.

Sky cleared for about 30 minutes this morning in the middle of the school / work preperation chaos that befalls our household each weekday morning. Fortunately I had my priorities right

I was lucky to catch a view in h-a that morning, from the car park as you do, and there were some decent proms on both limbs, making me wonder if there might be something coming around the corner?

sat24 is not giving me much hope of catching another view any time soon...

Spaceweather says it might be a double peak maximum with this quite period in between .. I certainly hope so...

Nice one David, no spots at a maximum, amazing. No sun up here for the last few days, well not when I have had chance anyway. Saturday looks the next best bet.

Glad you got a shot at seeing the sun at all. I can see it was hard to focus. Really weird to have so little activity in white light at maximum.
