Essex at night :)

|I have been playing with my new Canon 6d and while test are still going on, I have to say I am more than impressed. Here are some pictures from last few nights:

From Wednesday to Sunday I will not have to go to work in the morning, so I will go out to "darker" Essex areas to make some proper tests. Anyone fancy joining?

Weather permitting I am planning to go out tonight to take some wide field shoots. I am thinking about visiting local Bailfairs park.

it was quite good night. Bit scary to go through woods, but sky for a urban area is surprisingly dark in Bailfairs park. First three pictures below. Next to follow later during this week:

strange , on PC it is looking fine. Is PNG much larger in sizo or it just prevents any kind of system compresion?

That was a really clear night, despite being in brentwood visibility was definetly better then most days I've been out.

I need to go there during daytime hours and find good photographing spot. Its quite different story when I have tried to navigate there during night. Suddenly I have lost all my bearings and couldnt find the way to centre of the woods.

First try on my nightscape panorama making skills. 6 images has been stitched using Microsoft Ice and uploaded to Photosynth. File is over 50mb so it can take a while to upload.

 I am loving it! Difference in quality between 6d and 1000d  is like between Ferrari and Ford   I got myself recently eq1 moded for autoguiding, so I will be back soon with long exposures

Jumping from a 6d to a 1000d, you'll definitely notice the difference.
