Recommendation - Illustrated Guide to Astronomy Wonders (book)

Recommended Posts

I agree it's an excellent book. often, as it provides images of many of the objects, it allows you to confirm that you are looking at the right star cluster. e.g. in Cygnus, the whole area is one big cluster and sometimes it's hard to know what you are looking at.

my only criticism is the binding. it's not that great after a while but it's cheap enough to buy another for inside if you damage it a bit.

I know what you mean. But as you rightly say, it was cheap.

Some of the O'Reilly books are my favourites in computing and electronics topics as well. This is my first Astronomical topic book from them, and again I am impressed.
