My new scope has arrived! exactly on the day, very good Telescope-Service :smiley:

It comes in a very well packad box, no visual damage outside, a good sign.

Inside the box, the parts are well protected with plastic bubbles (I've taken out other protecting foams, boxes in the follow picture):

And finally the orange OTA in its own box and foam. ORANGE? Yes, I know it's not the usual color for C8 OTA, but this color is 100€ saving :smiley:

Congrats on your new scope :cool: orange is indeed the proper colour for a C8 :) nowadays the orange ones are the ones for the 8SE and the others are black, optically they're the same but the location of the dovetail is all that is different (well, and the black ones come with an optical finder scope)

Orange is the classic colour I associate with Celestron SCT's. Back in the 1980's they were all that colour.

It makes the saving even sweeter :smiley:
