The Sun 7 July 2013 white light

Todays Sun with good seeing and clear skies. To make it doubly exciting I've changed the format of my image showing the Longitude and Latitude grid - it is now the same size as the other two images! WOW!

I also have about 60Gb of .avi's to process - I'm trying to do a full disc mosaic in white light which is something I always find difficult (or even impossible!) - I'll post he result later.

Wow, lots of nice ARs in that shot. Well captured. I have only had a look in H-alpha this morning, I must clearly also have a look in white light

Looking forwards to your mosaic. I've tried this a few times, but struggle matching up the sometimes limited details on the different panels to get a good join.

Nice capture Roger, another early capture? I would imagine a mosaic will be really hard due to a lack of surface features across the whole disc. I can see a lot of manual positioning and blending.
