Hate to say this ant but half an hour after you went we all saw panstarrs. It's in casseopia, give it a try tonight you should be able to catch it from home.

The weather doesn't look too bad for tonight so I'll go searching for it with my bins. :bino2:

I think I have seen it just now! I went out with the bins and looked where Stellarium told me C/2011/L4 PANSTARRS should be and I could see a faint smudge, like a fuzzy star. My first comet!

Congrats, that's pretty impressive in binos considering how dim it is now. We just have to wait for ISON for a real show now! :Envy:
