I take it you have a squint? :D

It may have been my eyes but I think it was the bins:-)

Speaking of unusual bins, I like the idea of these x2.3 things that you can strap to your head.

2.3x40? exit pupil 17.4mm, quite suitable for this guy

They probably want the huge objective to avoid vignetting more than anything else

I would have bid on them binoculars, but i

think, they might have got a bit soggie in the rain.

All you needed was a broom handle on the

end, & you would have been away.

Not a problem, when do you go observing in the rain?

Rain falls from clouds, clouds obscure the stars so you don't observe in the rain.

Prefer the blue banded version myself.

You could rap them in a Tesco

carrier bag & they would be water proof.
