After what seemed like a lifetime I managed to get 2 hours clear skies last night.

Started off with Jupiter and as my scope is only 5 inches it seems I'm not destined for great views of planets. It's quite tricky to find the sweet focus point, it was ok, could just see 2 bands.

Then turned my attention to M42 which was magnificent,as usual. But my joy was definitely bagging The Starfish cluster followed by The Pinwheel. 2 beautiful clusters in my novice opinion. DON'T YOU JUST LOVE THIS HOBBY.....GIVE ME MORE : )
