Sailing into the Wind - AE Aurigae and IC405 - The Flaming Star Nebula

Hi guys,

Here's an image I shout from the Negev Desert Thus. before last.

Seeing was just wonderful – perhaps one of the best ever in that site.

I decided to return to an object I truly love, which I haven't visited for more than 3 years now.

I tried a different framing on it – one which fits better with my own perception of it as a great heavenly sail, facing strong winds…

I hope you like it, and any comments are, as always, very welcome!

Cheers,

Harel

Thanks RIch, Gina,

I can imagine how frustrating can bad weather be, if it just comes and stays there...

I hope that by the next new moon you guys will have a little break in the clouds, and get under a starlit sky again.

Cheers,

Harel

Holy smoke, Harel, we know you're good but this is outrageous! It's those tiny stars! They blew up like crazy when I imaged this area and really needed beating down with a heavy hand which left the image very compromised. Yours look like NB stars in size and really allow the nebula to show cleanly.

All tips gladly received...

Olly
