Short extension tube

I'm looking for a short extension tube, about 35mm, but can't find one anywhere. Just needs to push fit into my focuser, no need for threads, it just needs to replace the standard skywatcher eyepiece adapter. Blueball do one but that only seems to be for sale in the states, and buying from there seems a big faff. Any ideas?

I made an extension from a kit Skywatcher barlow that I removed the lenses from. That would be about the right size, I think.

You don't say if its a 2" or 1.25, what James says will work with the smaller size, and if you brought the ST80 new there should be on real rubbish one with that, if its 2" then Revelation do a extension with a nice brass insert, or push the boat out and get the Williams optics 2" extender, i have both and there nothing to choose between them except the price...

Good point. Didn't occur to me that it might be 2". Not entirely awake today for some reason

Thanks Lorne that is exactly what I'm looking for, Altair was about the only website I hadn't looked at,daft when it's an Altair twist lock I need it for.

I did the same, had a spare x2 barlow sitting about and used that...works a treat.

Plus you can still screw the barlow element direct into the eyepiece and get some magnification effect thought it wont be x2

I'm very new to all this, but I have noticed that tiny components for astronomy always seem to be around the magic £20 mark...blumming expensive business this star gazing lark...
