Recommended Posts

I've not posted an image on here for quite a while and finally decided that perhaps this was the one to get the ball rolling again.

DWB111 is a lesser known nebula in Cygnus, no one even knows it's distance from Earth.

Details:

M: HEQ5

T: Pentax 75SDHF

C: Atik 314L+ Baader 7nm Ha, OIII and SII filters

Ha - 12 x 1500

OIII - 19 x 1500

SII - 17 x 1500

Totalling 20 hours this was mapped as SII:Ha:OIII

If there's anything you think should be done better or different then I'd welcome your comments. We can't learn and improve otherwise.

That ball is not yet rolling as nothing is attached!

It sounds really good though, so please do.

Thanks all for taking the time to look and comment.

I found the colours with this one quite tricky. I wanted the gold and cyan but found that the data was rather lacking in the OIII (blue channel) and this made some of the cyans really hard to find.
