Hi all,

OK I'm sick of trying to image planets at under 30 degrees so time to see if I can get into some deep sky action. Here's where I'm starting....this is a combined stack of 30 x 20s subs at ISO 3200 with darks, plus 5 x 90s subs at ISO 1600 with darks. Canon 5D on Celestron 9.25" SCT on EQ6, with some pretty dodgy guiding going on for the 90s subs (just starting to figure this guiding nonsense out). Stacked in DSS and further processed in Photoshop. I tried to remove more of the noise but it didn't really work out.

Cheers

Jim
