Venus - I can't resist a crescent...

Hi all,

The clouds parted yesterday during the day and I was so desperate to do something other than the Sun that I had a go at Venus. This is an RGB capture of the planet which doesn't show much in the way of detail but does, I hope, convey the beauty of the Venusian crescent...

As Astroman say's, no detail, but as always, there is an ingredient to your images, undefinable, that gives them a special aura.

I am no big fan of Venus as a target for cameras, but this one has a quiet serenity. It's the only way I can describe it.
